Job Opportunity: Support Worker
We are seeking a passionate and values-driven Support Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young individuals.
The successful candidate will work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering tailored support to enhance the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals
* Assisting with personal care, mobility, and skill development
* Building meaningful connections and providing mentorship and emotional support
* Supporting community participation and recreational activities
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
* Advocating for customer rights and promoting independence
* Creating safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
* A valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
* An NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
