About the Program
The Formula High School (FHS) program is the pinnacle of where education meets innovation. The program is designed to not only give students the necessary skills and qualifications for the engineering industry but also develop an even larger passion towards it.
The Role
We are excited to announce that we are seeking a Trainer and Assessor to join our passionate Team of Engineering Pathways Trainers.
As a Trainer and Assessor with FHS, you will be responsible for:
* Routine Visits to partnering Schools to support classes and teachers in delivering the program; including delivering material, cars or resources as required.
* Assist in the training of teaching staff in utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS)
* Assess Theory and Practical work completed and submitted by enrolled students via the LMS
* Attend Professional Development days and Industry relevant Events/Workshops to maintain 'Industry Currency', reported on Quarterly
* Maintaining records of visits and School support activities via call sheets and Outlook Calendar
* Maintain daily communication via email and/or phone to other members of staff including the Program Manager
* Maintain strong relationships with partner schools
* Mentor and motivate students to achieve their goals
* Support program delivery at various locations in the absence of School teaching staff where and when required

About You:
1. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116 or TAE40122) – mandatory.
2. Relevant Engineering industry qualifications and experience.
3. Experience delivering training to school-aged students (VET in Schools experience highly regarded).
4. Advanced Microsoft Office and computer skills
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Passionate about youth development and vocational education.
7. Must hold a valid Working with Children Clearance
