The Opportunity
Due to strong business growth, we're on the lookout for a skilled and energetic Ficep Beamline Operator to join our Afternoon Shift team. This is more than just a machine operator role – it's your chance to be part of a cutting-edge, high-output environment where no two days are the same.
You'll be responsible for processing structural steel with accuracy, operating our advanced Ficep Beamline machine, and working with a variety of CNC saws and equipment. You’ll also get hands-on with overhead cranes and forklifts while helping to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
* Operating our Ficep Beamline and CNC machinery with precision and efficiency
* Cutting and processing structural steel to exact specifications
* Reading job instructions and basic technical drawings
* Performing general warehouse duties using forklifts and overhead cranes
* Contributing to a high-performing team with safety, speed, and pride
What We're Looking For
* Experience operating a beamline or similar CNC machine (Ficep experience a bonus!)
* Steel industry or heavy warehouse background
* Forklift licence and overhead crane experience
* A strong, positive attitude and a solid work ethic
* Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and read drawings
* A safety-first mindset – we don’t compromise
