Your Role

Join a passionate, close-knit team committed to helping children and young people experiencing homelessness find stability, independence, and hope for the future. In this role, you’ll engage directly with young people, providing tailored case management and essential support services. Working within a child-safe, inclusive framework, you’ll play a key role in helping clients develop life skills, set and achieve personal goals, and connect with community support.


Your Responsibility

Empower young people to build independence and self-advocacy skills.

Develop and implement dynamic, safety-focused case plans.

Provide support in living skills, group programs, and community engagement.

Conduct home visits for clients in transitional or temporary housing.

Uphold the NSW Child Safe Standards and relevant legislation.

Collaborate with local support services to ensure holistic client care.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture aligned with our Strategic Plan.

Mentor team members with ad hoc coaching and support.

Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with safety and legal obligations.


You Will Need

Diploma in Community Services or working towards a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.

Experience supporting children and young people in a casework or support capacity.

Solid knowledge of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 .

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and the gendered nature of domestic violence.

Experience working with Aboriginal and CALD communities in a culturally responsive way.

Skilled in crisis management, problem-solving, and relationship building.

Confident in planning and delivering educational and life-skills programs.

Current NSW Driver Licence is essential.
