An opportunity has arisen for an experienced maintenance fitter to join the afternoon shift team at the Opal Athol Park team reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Our site is based in the western suburbs of Adelaide, only 15 minutes from the city and 10 minutes to the coast. We are a small Engineering team who are skilled and passionate about what we do. We offer a challenge and an environment to grow and develop. We offer flexibility and weekend work is an option. An afternoon shift loading of 20% applies.
The role will be responsible for:
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance across the plant in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner
* Maintenance planning
* Contribute to the health and safety of the plant
* Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
* Supervise apprentices as required.
We would like for the successful candidate to have:
* Knowledge & experience in safe working practices/procedures
* Ability to understand technical drawings.
* Reliable, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised in a team environment
* Team Player, trustworthy and great work ethic
