Job Description:
As a technical professional, you will be responsible for installing and configuring software applications, including setting up printers and handheld devices. You will also undertake server installations and configure servers as required.
The role requires providing comprehensive training to clients on the use of software applications, both virtually and on-site. This includes creating training materials and support documentation for clients.
You will produce post-installation reports for management and travel throughout Australia for on-site installations, training, and software consultancy.
This position also involves supporting risk management and mitigation during the installation lifecycle, ensuring timely communication of unresolved risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop/software support or an equivalent IT-related degree.
* Previous network and desktop support/service desk/training experience.
* Strong knowledge of Windows PC Operating Systems (Win 8, Win 10).
* Familiarity with Linux Red Hat operating environment and SQL database knowledge.
* Ability to install and troubleshoot software and network configurations.
* Capability to manage time and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A genuine interest in delivering high-quality customer service.
* A positive attitude with a willingness to adapt and learn.
* Ability to communicate and work well within a team.
* A current full car driver's license and Australian residency.
