Offer description

Are you a trade-qualified mechanic looking to advance your technical skills with world-class machinery?

LiftRite Hire & Sales is looking for a high-energy Workshop Technician to drive our service division forward.

Your New Company:

At LiftRite, we don't just provide machinery; we deliver the power to move the world. As a proud subsidiary of the global Manitou Group, we are leaders in handling, access, and earthmoving technology.

From Manitou's versatile handling solutions to Kobelco's industry-leading excavator technology, our portfolio represents the gold standard of durability and efficiency. We empower our customers to tackle the most demanding projects with total confidence and we want you to be part of that success story.

Your New Role

As a Workshop Technician, you'll play a pivotal role carrying out high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and servicing for customer equipment and LiftRite's premium hire fleet.

Reporting to the Workshop and Service Supervisors, you will act as the principal point of contact for mechanical assembly, fault-finding, and component maintenance at our Canning Vale dealership.

In this role you will be required to:
* Carry out installation, maintenance, and repairs of Manitou and Kobelco products.
* Perform advanced fault-finding and servicing on engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
* Service and repair the hire fleet to a high standard, including fitting specialized attachments.
* Account for parts used via service reports and ensure unused stock is credited back promptly.
* Complete and process accurate daily repair reports, highlighting items requiring future attention.
The successful applicant will have:
* Mechanical Trade Certificate (Heavy Vehicle or Diesel preferred) with 3–5 years of post-trade experience.
* Demonstrated diagnostic knowledge across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* The ability to work cohesively in a team environment as well as autonomously.
* A proven track record of maintaining workplace health and safety compliance.
* Current C-Class driver's licence. High Risk Work Licences (LF Forklift and WP Boom Lift) are an advantage but not essential.
What You'll Get in Return:
* Celebrate You: Enjoy an additional day of leave for your birthday every year.
* Team Culture: Join a supportive, collaborative environment with regular social activities.
* Growth & Development: Access ongoing technical development, accredited product training, and clear pathways for career progression.
* Recognition Excellence: Be rewarded for your hard work through our Reward and Recognition Program.
