About the Role:
As a Territory Manager - On Premise, you will be a key driver of our premium wine portfolio across your territory. Reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager – On Premise, you will manage and grow relationships with on-premise accounts including restaurants, bars, hotels, and groups.
Your mission is to increase brand presence and sales while delivering outstanding customer experiences in a dynamic and competitive market.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing territory sales plans to achieve targets and grow market share
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with on-premise customers
* Conducting regular visits and tastings to educate and engage clients about our portfolio
* Collaborating closely with marketing and brand teams to deliver promotional campaigns and events
* Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities
* Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
* Representing us at industry events and trade shows to elevate brand visibility
About You:
You are a motivated and personable salesperson with proven success in on-premise or hospitality sales. Your passion for wine and beverages is matched by your strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Your Experience and Skills:
* Demonstrated track record in on-premise sales, ideally within the wine or premium beverage sector
* Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to plan and prioritise work efficiently across a dispersed territory
* Self-motivated with a strong customer focus and the ability to work autonomously
* Familiarity with the New Zealand on-premise market is highly desirable
* Willingness to travel regularly across your assigned territory
* A passion for wine and a strong desire to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative company
