Global Medics is seeking a
Clinical Director of General Medicine
for a permanent position at a public hospital in Queensland.
The hospital is a 79-bedded facility which provides inpatient and outpatient services, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine and surgery, and specialty services in orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology. It is located in the city which serves as a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Heron Island.
The area boasts stunning national parks, historic townships, sprawling parklands, and family-friendly recreation spaces. With year-round warm weather, residents enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, camping, and sports.
The region is renowned for its vibrant and diverse community, combining scenic beachside towns, rural farming areas and featuring a state-of-the-art entertainment and convention centre, heritage-listed galleries and museums, and five well-stocked libraries.

Requirements
Fellowship of the relevant Royal Australian Medical College or equivalent
Specialist AHPRA registration or eligible to attain (Substantially Comparable)
A minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Director of General Medicine
