Remuneration: $120,652.51 - $124,565.9 per annum + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Responsibilities

* Support and mentor nursing staff within the Coronary Care Unit to deliver safe, evidence-informed and patient-centred cardiac care.
* Contribute to the education, professional development and clinical capability of nurses across a fast-paced and specialised critical care environment.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality cardiac care, continuous improvement and positive patient outcomes.
* Develop and implement education programs, bedside teaching, and competency-based learning opportunities to support staff at all stages of their career.
* Join a supportive and experienced coronary care team that values collaboration, learning, innovation, and excellence in clinical practice.

Are You the Right Fit?

The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following:

* Demonstrated experience in coronary care, critical care or acute cardiac nursing, with a commitment to high-quality and patient-centred care.
* Strategic and innovative thinker who can identify learning needs and develop engaging education initiatives that support staff capability and clinical excellence.
* Passion for education, mentoring and creating contemporary learning opportunities using flexible and creative approaches to teaching. Strong communication, collaboration and active listening skills, with the ability to work effectively across the multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate education programs and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* The role includes planning, coordinating and delivering education programs, supporting staff development and fostering a positive learning culture within the Coronary Care Unit.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
* Provide an example of an innovative or creative approach you have used to engage staff in learning and professional development. What was the outcome and how did you evaluate its effectiveness?
* Describe your experience in developing, implementing and evaluating education initiatives within a coronary care, critical care or acute care setting. How have your strategies supported staff capability and improved clinical practice?
