Senior Appian Developer Opportunity

About the Role
This government department requires an experienced Senior Appian Developer with at least three years of experience working with Appian. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and be a collaborative team player.
* Translate user stories into functional requirements using the Appian platform.
* Design, implement, enhance, and support Appian applications.
* Guide junior Appian developers in ensuring best practices are followed.
* Participate in peer reviews to guarantee quality and facilitate knowledge transfer.
* Prepare and maintain thorough system and application documentation.
* Analyze and resolve production defects.
The successful candidate will have strong experience with the Appian BPM platform, MySQL or similar relational databases, and skills for writing reusable common objects. Experience in Agile software development, including JIRA and Kanban boards, and collaboration with Business Analysts and Key Stakeholders is also desirable. Appian certification would be highly regarded, as well as experience with other programming languages such as .Net, C#, Java, or any object-oriented language, and cloud technologies like AWS/MS Azure.
