About Cricket ACT

Cricket ACT is the governing body for cricket in the Australian Capital Territory, responsible for the leadership, development and promotion of the game across community, club, pathway and high‑performance environments.

Working in close partnership with Cricket Australia, the ACT Government, member associations, clubs, schools and commercial partners, Cricket ACT plays a critical role in ensuring cricket remains accessible, inclusive, sustainable and successful across the region.

Cricket ACT oversees participation programs from entry‑level juniors through to elite pathways, including the ACT Meteors and ACT Comets, and supports a vibrant club cricket system that underpins the sport’s long‑term health in the Territory.

Message from the Chair

“This is a pivotal and exciting time for Cricket ACT. Cricket continues to play a vital role in the fabric of our community, and the organisation is well positioned to build on its strong foundations.”

The Board is seeking a Chief Executive Officer who will provide outstanding leadership, deepen our impact across participation and performance, and strengthen our partnerships with members, government and Cricket Australia.

This role offers a rare opportunity to shape the future of cricket in the ACT — to lead an organisation with passionate people, a clear purpose, and the chance to make a lasting contribution to our game and our community. We look forward to appointing a CEO who shares our ambition and values, and who is excited by the opportunity ahead.
