We're the Health Insurance Fund of Australia, but our friends call us HIF and we have an exciting opportunity for a Retention Marketing Specialist with experience in a similar role and great people skills, to join our team.
This is a full time, 18 month fixed term contract (with potential extension).
About the role
HIF is a not for profit private health insurer, which means that doing the right thing by our member's lies at the very heart of the business.
This role is critical to guiding the interactions we have with our most important stakeholders – our members.
Reporting directly to the Head of Media, Advocacy and Member Communications, you will deliver and evolve our member retention program.
We are looking for a strong communicator with proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, who can build strong partnerships to deliver outcomes.
Owning the development and implementation of the customer journey, you will have the technical capability to build and deploy campaigns ultimately increase retention.
Working within the Communications team and wider Marketing team, and our external distribution house, you will drive the overall retention agenda, identify opportunities and areas for improvement and bring stakeholders on that journey.

What we're looking for in you
Be driven, tenacious, friendly, flexible, adaptable, and resourceful.
Have solid exposure delivering journeys across all digital channels (SMS, email, in-app), understanding how to best utilise those channels based on audience need and interaction.
The technical capability to build and deploy campaigns through platforms.
The ability to think creatively and use data to inform decision making and identify opportunities.
Previous experience with marketing and email marketing automation platforms.
You'll understand the art and science of marketing, with brilliant creative solutions informed by rich data insights.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and take ownership of your remit to deliver great work.
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, eCommerce, Communications or related discipline.
