About the role We are currently seeking 2 x skilled Industrial Spray Painters to join an established and respected transport engineering organisation based in Gympie.
for a minimum 3-month project, with the potential for extension.
This hands-on role will involve spray painting heavy machinery involved in mining and heavy haulage, mainly side tippers.
They have a sand blasting and quality spray booth on site and the tasks will involve applying a zinc primer, epoxy coating and top coat ensuring high quality finishes.
Duties The requirements for the role are: Proven experience in industrial spray painting, ideally with large machinery Strong knowledge of zinc, epoxy, and polyurethane paint systems Skilled in using airless and conventional spray painting equipment A good understanding of workplace safety and paint application standards High attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic Benefits In return you will receive: Excellent pay - well above industry standards (based on your experience) Work with a respected transport engineering company Minimum 3-month project with potential for further opportunities Immediate start available Support from the Workforce Extensions team throughout your placement Culture Statement Workforce Extensions values and includes all our team members.
