Advanced Buildings are an established construction and restoration business with offices Nationally in, NSW, the ACT, VIC and QLD. We are one of Australia's most trusted and experienced Insurance Building and Repair providers and we specialise in Insurance Repair and Strata work involving large and technical projects. We have long established relationships with Australia's major Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters.
We are currently looking for a Construction Supervisor to join the Sunshine Coast Team. Reporting to the Branch Manager this role will see you take responsibility for your allocated job sites and work with subcontractor trades to ensure works are delivered in accordance with our safety, quality and budget requirements.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Produce detailed scope of work as required
- Control and manage a portfolio of projects as allocated
- Administer and comply with head contract requirements
- Determine works programs and manage throughout the project delivery
- Prepare trade packages, subcontractor tender analysis and letting of sub-contracts
- Manage, engage and coordinate with trades/subcontractors through each project
- Maintain job records
- Liaise with owners, insurers, assessors and other stakeholders as required
- Project completion and sign off duties
**As the ideal applicant you will possess**:
- Prior construction supervision experience with residential repair and insurance work considered highly advantageous
- Demonstrated knowledge of BCA standards and construction methodology
- Trade qualifications in Carpentry will be considered desirable but not essential
- Solid commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities
- High level of customer service focus with outstanding relationship management skills
