Perth | Immediate Start | Permanent or Contract Opportunity
CGC Recruitment is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Drafter for a major Public Transport Authority (PTA) infrastructure upgrade project.
With a preferred start date in July, this is an immediate requirement for a drafter who can contribute to the delivery of civil and underground services design documentation within a complex transport environment.
The Opportunity
This role will see you working as part of a high-performing design team delivering transport and rail infrastructure projects across Western Australia. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality civil drawings and documentation, working closely with designers and engineers to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and update design drawings in accordance with project requirements
* Assist with the delivery of transport and infrastructure projects
* Coordinate with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams
* Ensure drawings are produced to company, client, and industry standards
* Contribute to the timely delivery of project milestones
* Maintain drawing registers and project documentation
About You
* 5–10 years' experience in civil drafting
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
* Experience working on transport, roads, highways, rail, or civil infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of civil drafting standards and drawing production
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments
* Local WA project experience highly regarded
* Rail corridor experience is favourable but not essential
