Job Opportunity:
McLean Care seeks a Home Care Employee/Virtual Care Facilitator to provide personal care, household assistance, and social engagement services in the Caloundra area.
The role involves assisting with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, and hygiene, supporting clients with cleaning and meal preparation, driving clients to medical appointments, and fostering social interaction.
The Virtual Care Support aspect of the role involves assisting clients to participate in telehealth appointments using an iPad or digital device, supporting basic clinician-directed tasks, and ensuring devices remain charged and ready for use.
To succeed in this position, you will need effective communication skills, empathy, and a caring approach, ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team, access to a fully maintained and insured vehicle, strong planning and organizational skills, competency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learn, and physical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing and sitting.
* Certificate III in Individual Support is essential.
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR, or willingness to obtain, is required.
* A current unrestricted Australian Driver's License is also necessary.
