As Head Of Sales, You Will:
* Achieve ambitious revenue targets to grow our GP customer base and expand into new healthcare markets.
* Lead and coach a high-performing sales team to drive new customer acquisition and ensure HotDoc retains its position as the leader in the GP space.
* Collaborate with peers across the executive leadership team to share market insights and set company-wide objectives.
* Your work will be pivotal to HotDoc being used by millions of Australians to more easily access the care they need and manage their health with greater confidence.
Key Accountabilities:
* Forecast sales team targets to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
* Create and execute an annual sales strategy that maximises revenue and delivers on company OKRs.
* Lead BDMs and SDRs to promote and leverage HotDoc’s brand with potential customers.
* Identify new opportunities and drive market expansion into allied health and specialists.
* Recruit, onboard, and coach high-performing sales talent with the right skills and experience.
* Provide effective line management, including regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and engagement checks.
* Partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELS) to set company-wide objectives and align strategy.
* Build and scale the marketing side of the business to strengthen lead generation and brand growth.
Authorities:
People authority: 7 direct reports, including Senior Account Executives, BDMs, SDRs.
Financial authority: Budget management in line with approved sales budgets.
Stakeholders & Relationships:
Direct Manager: CFO
Direct Reports: Senior Account Executives, Business Development Managers, Senior & Junior Sales Development Representatives
Key Internal Stakeholders: Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and the Executive Leadership Team
Essential Experiences, Capabilities & Qualifications:
* 7+ years experience in sales, with at least 2+ years leading and coaching sales teams.
* Proven experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in healthcare or a related industry.
* Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on coaching and development.
* Resilience, dedication, determination, and problem-solving ability.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
* A good sense of humour (bonus points for self-deprecating).
Desirable
* Experience in Australian healthcare or health IT.
* Previous leadership in fast paced high-growth SaaS or scale-up environments.
