Technical Operations Lead
The laboratory operations leader oversees the day-to-day functions of the concrete and quarry materials testing facilities.
Responsibilities include supervising lab technicians, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and internal protocols, coordinating sampling, testing, and reporting for aggregates, concrete, and other raw materials.
Key performance indicators focus on maintaining accurate records for audits, NATA compliance, and internal reporting.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and proficiency in using laboratory systems and Microsoft Office.
A Certificate IV or higher in Laboratory Techniques, Construction Materials Testing, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of NATA accreditation processes is desirable.

Requirements
At least 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory environment within the concrete or quarrying industry.
Strong understanding of aggregate and concrete testing procedures and standards.
Prior experience supervising or leading a small technical or laboratory team.
High attention to detail and methodical approach to testing and documentation.
Competence in using laboratory systems and Microsoft Office.
Certificate IV or higher in Laboratory Techniques, Construction Materials Testing, or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of NATA accreditation processes (desirable).
