The Opportunity: Our client is a proudly independent 'end to end' solutions provider offering Bespoke Retail Marketing, Design, Print, POS production and Web Based Management services to an impressive portfolio of well recognised brand names within the FMCG, Pharma, Liquor and Hardware industries.
Due to continued growth and new client acquisitions, they are seeking an additional Industrial Designer to join the team.
You will feel like a valued adviser to your allocated clients as you manage the industrial design requirements and offshore supply chains in the delivery of temporary and permanent POS items.
You will have exposure to diverse material types covering semi-permanent, and permanent products, utilising cardboard, plastics and metal fabrication.
Typical duties include: Coordinate and manage industrial design requirements, including client meetings, interpreting briefs, delivering 3D renders, and managing WIP documents.
Assist Industrial Design Offshore Operations Manager in the maintenance of Offshore Supply Chain relationships.
Deliver environmentally sustainable designs and products where possible.
Manage projects with offshore supply chains to secure cost competitive pricing for all offshore produced POS items.
So who are you?
Previous experience as an Industrial Designer, with specific exposure to POS displays Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with Clients and Suppliers Advanced skills in Solidworks 3D modelling and rending A positive minded team player with a good sense of humour.
