Job Opportunity: Heavy Duty Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will have trade qualifications in heavy duty mechanics, diesel fitting or mechanical fitting, and extensive experience working on Hitachi excavators, Komatsu HD1500 haul trucks and Caterpillar ancillary equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and unplanned repairs on mobile fleet equipment
* Provide technical expertise in hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
* Work closely with maintenance supervisors to coordinate scheduled maintenance and repair activities
* Foster a safety-first culture by promoting best practice
Requirements:
* Trade qualifications in heavy duty mechanics, diesel fitting or mechanical fitting
* Extensive experience working on Hitachi excavators, Komatsu HD1500 haul trucks and Caterpillar ancillary equipment
