Home Buying is responsible for the technology powering the end-to-end home buying journey for our customers. From searching for properties and calculating borrowing capacity, to enabling a smooth home loan application and settlement process, along with managing products, pricing, credit and valuation assessments, this domain builds the digital solutions that make every step simpler.
What you'll be doing
As the Crew Tech Lead you'll be joining a high impact crew that marries software engineering with data-driven modelling, building new capabilities to support millions of customers.
You'll drive large scale transformation and platform health of the Crew including its architecture, systems reliability, data integrity, and alignment with enterprise standards. You'll also serve as the technical co-pilot to the Crew Lead, jointly steering the crew's roadmap and outcomes.
* Architect and oversee our ecosystem of home buying that empower home buyers, lenders and brokers at every step of the journey from concept, design, build and run.
* Guide a high-performing engineering team in creating seamless customer journeys across the home buying
* Evolve and transform our customers end to end digital journey
* Identify patterns and connections across complex systems to unlock innovative solutions including the use of Generative AI
* Collaborate closely with the Crew Lead, Product Owners, security and risk stakeholders and other CTLs to deliver safe, fast and customer-centric home loan capabilities.

Are seasoned hands-on Technology Senior Leader's with deep engineering expertise, a passion for building complex scalable systems, and enjoy leading teams through challenging builds.
* Are passionate technologists experienced in shaping and delivering technology strategies in large scalable environments.
* Driving innovation, new approaches and outside the box thinking.
* Produce technology solutions and architecture, whilst ensuring the alignment to the technology strategy, whilst balancing delivery times, resources and budgets.
* Experience in AWS, API delivery, data delivery, management and integration of SaaS vendors, delivering workflow, credit decisioning, valuation engines preferred
* Enjoy being hands-on, owning delivery and inspiring and building engineering and technology teams through the use of modern, GenAI-powered engineering tools and ways of working.
* Will bring expertise in delivering the best experiences for customers, and knowledge of the latest technology strategies to further scale at speed such as GenAI.
