As Merchandising Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping Marley Spoon's product offerings and curating an experience that connects with our diverse and passionate customer base in order to drive revenue. In close collaboration with the Culinary & Merchandising team, you will oversee pricing optimisation, product range development and inventory optimisation, leading strategic merchandising planning from our Sydney office, located in Alexandria (NSW 2015).
**Your role**:
- Develop and implement strategic merchandising aligned with organisational goals.
- Drive growth through annual and seasonal range planning.
- Optimise sales and profitability with pricing strategies.
- Maximise AOV through weekly Assortment Planning.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor benchmarks for range expansion opportunities.
- Lead regional technical and operational implementations to improve UX and sales.
**Requirements**:
**This is you**:
- 5 years of proven experience in merchandising, ideally within the food industry
- Extensive experience in developing range plans, setting brand budgets and managing open to buy spend.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with a track record of building strong relationships with third party partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
