Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and providing supportive services to individuals and families.
About the Role:
* Demonstrate expertise in co-designing treatment plans with clients, utilizing a structured approach and shared care model.
* Rapidly identify and respond to deteriorating mental health, ensuring client safety and preferences are respected.
* Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatments, coping strategies, and ongoing support resources.
* Coordinate referrals to Area Mental Health & Wellbeing and other relevant services through assessments, psychiatric evaluations, crisis coordination, and expert mental health advice.
* Promote interdisciplinary collaboration, offering discipline-specific guidance and advice to staff and students.
* Develop and facilitate evidence-based group sessions.
* Maintain current clinical competence specific to the area of practice.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing.
* AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Registered Nurse.
* AASW registration as a Mental Health Social Worker.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience.
* CURRENT Australian Driver's License.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication abilities.
