Offer description

Applicants from the previous process IPS/TCH925117 who were assessed as suitable are not required to reapply.
We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
At Adam Road Primary School (PS), every student is on the road to success. Our vision is for students to achieve success as lifelong learners, within a connected community, to become their strongest self. Therefore, our staff work collaboratively to create the conditions for this success, acknowledging the impact of high quality, effective pedagogical practices in every classroom, every day.

The Role
Whilst this Recruitment Pool may be used for Kindergarten to Year 6, our school is seeking teaching staff primarily with expertise and high quality practices in Junior Primary classrooms, specifically across Year 1 to Year 3. Junior Primary is a rich and dynamic teaching experience, where key concepts and learning skills are developed by students at varying rates. This requires teachers who are experts at crafting learning environments with strong but responsive routines and procedures. They create rich and engaging teaching sequences, embedding concrete and visual strategies to support an array of learners.
We provide teachers with clarity of expectations, through an annual Playbook. This Playbook outlines our whole school approaches, including:
* PR1ME Mathematics
* Literacy Blocks (including Promoting Literacy Development; Heggerty PA; Fluency Pairs and Daily Reviews)
* Positive Learning Environments (including Berry Street Education Model; the Adam Road Code; RYPPLE Effective Teaching and Learning Practices)
* Social Emotional Learning – You Can Do It.
Underlying all of these approaches, is a focus on evaluating our impact through data-informed teaching. We are looking for teachers who are self-reflective, and use a range of student information to create teaching opportunities for Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. Successful applicants will create partnerships with families, transparently sharing growth milestones and achievement, and building support plans where necessary to ensure that all students achieve success.
We are building a community culture where all members "lift their load" in terms of delivering our high expectations in our school. In return, we offer a positive work environment, where teams of staff collaborate to achieve the best possible for our students. Classroom teachers are supported by an effective leadership team, committed to enabling the conditions necessary for exemplary teaching practice. Within a Cluster Lead model, each teacher has an allocated Deputy Principal who supports them to embed our practices and partners with them to case manage students with additional support needs.
