About Amberley Health Centre
RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian military’s KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.
What You Will Do
* Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
* Occ Med environment
* Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
* Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care
* Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership
What You Bring
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
* FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
* Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years
* Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
* Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
* Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
Additional Information
* Provide Occupational Medicine services
* Civilian role – no enlistment required
