**An opportunity has become available for an experienced IT, Electronics or Electrical professional to join our Fleet Maintenance team, as the Electronics and Soft**ware Specialist. Based at the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility, you will be reporting to the Fleet Manager and primarily responsible for managing and supporting the non-Alstom IT needs of Wulkuraka and the out stations across South East QLD. You will **use your technical skills, knowledge, and experience to support and provide guidance for fault finding, diagnostics, rectification, post work testing, root cause analysis and continuous improvement primarily for non-Alstom IT assets then as required, Alstom train components and train systems**. **You will also be responsible for;**:
- Software and hardware support for various end user devices (e.g. service maintainer Notepads, brake software, lap tops, Calipri DCU, bespoke hardware and leads etc)
- Management of a register of all non-Alstom IT equipment
- Ensuring all hardware and software are up to date and compliant
- Providing support and assistance to the technical requirements of rotable electronic components

**To be successful in the role, you will have;**
- A passion for IT/Electronic fault finding and problem solving
- Experience in a similar role with a strong focus on coordinating and managing IT/Electronic assets
- Demonstrated experience in a hands-on role building or repairing electronics
- QLD Electrical workers licence to provide on-train support of train electronic / electrical components and systems (preferred)
