We're seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team within a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone who takes ownership, works well autonomously, and enjoys being part of an operationally focused business.
About the role
Reporting into the finance function, you'll support day-to-day accounts activities and help keep our financial processes running smoothly across multiple sites and stakeholders.
While it is listed as a full-time role, we are open to people wanting to work a 9-day fortnight.
Key responsibilities
* Accounts payable and receivable processing with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Invoice matching, reconciliations and data entry to support timely and accurate reporting.
* Assistance with month-end activities and basic reporting requirements.
* Maintenance of accurate financial records, filing and documentation.
* Finance and operational support to ensure day-to-day business needs are met.
* Supporting with inventory and stocktakes.
About you
* Previous experience working in AP, AR or accounts administration.
* Self-directed, organised and able to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
* Confidence using accounting systems and Excel in a practical day-to-day capacity.
* Comfort working in a hands-on, operational business where priorities can shift.
