This role is full-time teaching in one of our Junior Primary classrooms. The role involves planning, teaching, and evaluating student learning in a Junior Primary classroom setting in line with West Australian Curriculum requirement.

Position Requirements:
To successful applicant will:
* Hold a valid teaching qualification and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum in the Junior Primary years.
* Experience in planning and delivering high-quality Junior Primary programs, with a focus on English, Mathematics, Science, HASS, and the Arts.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of students of differing ability levels.
* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community.
* Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of an independent/private school, along with the ability to inspire and engage students in their learning.
* Experience with the Reggio Emilia approach is desirable.
* To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
* To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
* To accept the College's Statement of Faith.
* Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
* Work to ensure personal best practice.
* Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
* Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
* Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
* Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
* First Aid certificate is desirable.
