About the role
The role of Operations Analyst is responsible for providing business improvement, data analysis and reporting services; to assist in maintaining and improving the level of service provided.
This role will see you use your strong communication skills to develop and maintain professional networks across the business while assisting the Team Leader and Section Manager to develop, deliver and maintain a range of performance improvement initiatives to support business processes and system functionality.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Key responsibilities
* Analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate processes and workflows.
* Assist in the development and delivery of performance improvement initiatives.
* Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders and manage day to day project issues.
* Provide data analysis and reporting services to support decision making.
Qualifications and experience
* Diploma level qualification in Business Analytics, Business/ Commerce or Project Management or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience combined with ongoing professional development.
* Experience in the application of project management principles, and project development.
* Experience in implementing change within a medium to large organisation.
* Experience in maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experience in water and sewerage operations, procedures and business administrative functions.
* Experience in maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
* The ability to work independently whilst managing day to day issues associated with assigned projects and operational response needs.
Salary and benefits
* The commencing salary for this position is up to $74.7k per year with progression opportunities up to the maximum salary of $86.5k on completion of assessment of skills and performance; 11.5% superannuation.
* Permanent full-time role with a 9 day fortnight.
* Hybrid and flexible working conditions; 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.
* Located at the Nexus Business Hub, North Wyong.
