Heavy Vehicle Driver Job Description
As a heavy vehicle driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our fleet of vehicles to deliver exceptional customer service. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Completing daily run sheets and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Performing pre-start vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
* Providing exceptional customer service and assisting with inquiries in a professional manner.
* Reporting job failures or non-completions to the Customer Care team for follow-up and investigation.
* Maintaining effective teamwork with drivers, Fleet Manager, and Operations Manager to complete duties as per the work schedule.
For this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles, a Heavy Vehicle Licence (HC), current Police Check and Working with Children Check. You will also need the ability to prepare and read reports/paperwork including issuing receipts/service dockets as needed.
