Job Title: Mental Health Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality care to individuals living with mental illness or mental disorder.
This role is centered on providing comprehensive clinical services that are least intrusive, deeply collaborative, and firmly rooted in recovery oriented principles. You will engage with consumers, their nominated carers, and families to ensure care is inclusive, responsive, and rehabilitative.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support long-term wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions to individuals and groups
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Engage in meaningful relationships with consumers, carers, and families to promote recovery and empowerment
* Work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide seamless care coordination and service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated skills in mental health and mental health nursing assessments and interventions
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
* Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills
* Computer competence and literacy
