A position has arisen for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to work in our modern and well-equipped maintenance facility.
Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a mature and professional individual with excellent communication skills to report to the Workshop Foreman.
Main Duties:
* Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble the fleet, and ensure safety, quality, and Buslines standards are met at all times.
* Maintain all company vehicles and assets according to manufacturer's guidelines.
* Perform maintenance work according to company procedures.
* Attend breakdowns and carry out field-related mechanical repairs.
* Effectively communicate any safety or maintenance issues.
* Adhere to Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing work duties.
The successful applicant will have:
* Experience in vehicle service and maintenance, with training provided to develop these skills.
* Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
* Sound verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
* Be proactive with a drive to continuously improve and adapt to a dynamic and growing team.
* Possess a passion for achieving outcomes.
* Hold a MR or HR driver's license (preferred).
