Job Title: Senior Financial Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Specialist with a strong background in public accounting. This role will involve providing leadership and technical guidance to our team, as well as working closely with senior management to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
* Provide financial guidance and advice to clients;
* Oversee annual tax planning and provide specialized tax optimization advice;
* Review and manage advisory reports on clients' business performance and strategic planning;
* Communicate complex financial matters clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax and business services roles;
* At least 2+ years' experience as a manager or team leader;
* Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines;
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
* Experience servicing a diverse client base;
* Proficiency in accounting software, especially Xero;
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
