YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join our high-performing and close-knit team based in Mt Gambier SA.
In this key role, you'll primarily work within the warehouse and support the trade store where needed. The purpose of this role is to provide support across key activities such as receiving, picking, packing, dispatching goods according to business and supplier documentation, and completing other warehouse duties like forklift operations.
We are seeking a hardworking all-rounder who is willing to get involved and assist the team across various functions.
Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
* Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders (including freight management)
* Operating forklifts within the warehouse
* Receiving, labelling, and storing incoming goods
* Sorting, loading, and unloading vehicles
* Ensuring shelves are stocked and well-displayed
* Assisting at the trade store counter and maintaining general housekeeping
* Data entry of customer information and orders
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
* Proven experience in a trade store, retail, or warehouse environment
* Friendly, customer-focused service skills with a 'customer first' approach
* Excellent time management and clear communication skills
* Proactive problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
* Good computer skills and experience with MS Office (RF device experience is a bonus)
* A desire to develop and grow your career with us
* Forklift license and experience is essential
Standard working hours are from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm, with potential variations based on business needs.
