Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, manage shift managers and cleaning staff to ensure a clean, sanitary, and attractive casino environment.
Essential Job Functions:
* Exhibit conduct per Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe policies.
* Assign duties and inspect work for cleanliness standards.
* Control supplies and equipment use.
* Investigate complaints and take corrective actions.
* Inspect public areas and offices for repairs or replacements, and recommend actions.
* Conduct orientation and ongoing training for staff.
* Attend seminars to improve management, cleaning techniques, and productivity.
* Develop staff skills through education, coaching, and counseling.
* Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service, notifying management of concerns.
* Support Tribal Career Development and act as a mentor for Tribe members.
* Reinforce company values and ensure ethical conduct, reporting any violations.
* Stay updated on industry trends and communicate pertinent information.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years in managerial roles overseeing public space/environmental services, including casino housekeeping.
Work Environment:
* Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, and tasting/smelling. Must lift/move up to 50 lbs. Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
* The environment is hectic, noisy, and crowded, with exposure to secondhand smoke and casino-related factors.
* Effective communication in English is required.

The Tribal Council prioritizes employment for Native Americans, with first preference to Seminole Tribe members, then other federally recognized tribes. Final candidates must pass background checks for gaming licensure, including credit, criminal, and drug screening.
