The Opportunity
This is a fixed-term contract position for two (2) years, focused on delivering key capital infrastructure projects that will strengthen and modernise our food manufacturing operations.
You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage capital projects from feasibility through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.Liaise with internal teams including Maintenance, Production, QA, Engineering, and Stores to ensure project alignment with operational requirements.Prepare engineering designs, process layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.Develop project schedules, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.Monitor project progress, costs, and resource utilisation to ensure timely completion.Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, engineering design, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering3–5+ years’ experience delivering capital projects (food manufacturing or FMCG desirable)Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process systemsExperience in project planning, scheduling, and budgetingProficiency in MS Office, CAD, and MS Project (or similar)Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
