Registrar - Paediatrics - Advanced Trainee (WACHS)Salary: MP Year 1-7 $146,569 to $442,065 p.a. pro rata (includes base salary, professional development allowance and 11.5% employer contributed superannuation)Location: Albany, Bunbury, Broome, Geraldton, Karratha and Port Hedland HospitalsUnit/Division: Central Office -> Medical ServicesWork Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part TimeFixed Term full time and part time appointment for 6 and 12 months commencing in February 2026, with the possibility of extension(s).Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until31/10/2025.POSITION PROFILEThe positions are accredited for up to 12 months of Advanced Training in General Paediatrics, although applications for 6 months will be considered if necessary. We are seeking enthusiastic registrars to join our teams in all our hospital sites.The hospitals sites included within the recruitment process are:AlbanyBroome (STP funded position)Bunbury (STP funded position)Geraldton (STP funded position)KarrathaPort Hedland (STP funded position)There is a strong team of resident consultant paediatricians providing close supervision and support in each of our hospitals while also giving opportunities for independent practice.For further information on specific hospitals sites and accredited training details, please read thoroughly the attached2026 Registrar Paediatric Advanced Trainee Booklet.Candidates for positions which are funded through the Australian Government Specialist Training Program (STP) must be in Years 1, 2 or 3 of their Advanced Training. Rates as 3 September 2024.Health Service Medical Practitioner Years 1-6, $350,115 to $442,065 pa** includes base salary $218,634 to $282,953 pa, professional Development allowance $33,442 pa, on-call allowance and 11.5% employer contributed Superannuation.
