Macmahon is seeking an experienced Site Trainer to support the recommencement of operations at Mt Carlton mine. Located approximately two hours south of Townsville, Mt Carlton is a gold silver operation preparing to transition from care and maintenance back into production. This restart presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment of safe, efficient and sustainable operational practices from the outset.
This position is a 6 month Fixed-Term contract and will operate on a 7 Days On / 7 Days Off roster, DIDO Only.
About the Role
* Coordinating and executing training and assessment in accordance with Macmahon training standards and site-specific training plan.
* Identifying any out of date, inaccurate or unsuitable content in site training material and bring to the attention of the Training Supervisor.
* Maintaining training records to ensure accuracy, currency and confidentiality.
* Support training of other site departments as required; and
* Ensuring compliance of training forecast/schedule and allocated training requirements.
About You
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 update is required), or the ability to deliver training and conduct assessments in line with site competency standards.
* Experience with Modular or similar type Dispatch System;
* Solid knowledge of mine site equipment (trucks, excavators, dozers, graders, watercarts, etc.) and standard operating procedures to support effective training delivery.
* Proven capability to collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Safety, and HR teams to identify training needs and support operational readiness.
* Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and
* Current C Class Drivers Licence.
