About the Role
We are seeking a Site EHS Coordinator to join our Stapylton Glass site and build a career in workplace health and safety. This role is ideal for someone early in their EHS journey who is passionate about safety and keen to learn within a highrisk manufacturing environment.
With support and mentoring from experienced leaders, you’ll assist in the daytoday implementation of EHS activities and contribute to building a strong, proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Support implementation of site EHS objectives, initiatives and action plans
* Assist with safety reporting, data tracking and performance monitoring
* Help identify workplace hazards and support risk assessments
* Participate in site inspections, audits and safety observations
* Assist with incident reporting and investigations
* Support safety training coordination and documentation
* Help maintain emergency response plans
* Assist with injury management and returntowork processes
About You
* Certificate IV in WHS (OHS) or currently studying / willing to commence
* Strong interest in building a career in health, safety or EHS
* Exposure to manufacturing or similar highrisk environments (desirable)
* Basic understanding of safety systems and procedures (training provided)
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Good communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
* Organised, proactive and keen to learn
