You'll be working in partnership with leadership across departments to ensure our people strategy is aligned with business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with leaders across AVI to deliver proactive, fit-for-purpose HR support.Lead performance review and career development processes aligned to AVI's frameworks.Coach and guide leaders through complex people matters including performance, employee relations, and workforce planning.Support change initiatives and cultural transformation aligned to company growth.Develop, implement and enhance policies, processes, and compliance with employment legislation.Champion diversity, inclusion, and well-being across the workforce.Provide HR support for internal and external audits or accreditation processes.Support the design and implementation of training, onboarding, and talent programs.Guide the business through recruitment strategy, employment branding, and workforce planning.What You'll BringA passion for people and a genuine desire to help others succeed.10+ years' experience in HR, with demonstrated capability in a generalist or business partnering role.Formal qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.Experience in environments with field-based, technical, industrial, or operational workforces (e.g., mining, defence, manufacturing, construction, engineering) is highly regarded.Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, and Fair Work legislation.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing company.A calm and pragmatic problem-solver with strong attention to detail.Why Join AVI?
