About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sportsbook Game Coordinator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sportsbook games.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Writing, verifying, and making payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures;
* Maintaining a cash bank for your shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary;
* Stocking Sports book Writer/Cashier's stations with adequate supplies; keeping all stations neat and clean;
* Writing Sports tickets in an accurate and timely manner;
* Making payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verifying tickets and payoffs;
* Maintaining and reconciling bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures;
* Explaining wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests;
* Providing information and assistance to customers in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure the delivery of guest service. Offering information on activities, etc., and directing guests for further information as necessary;
* Creating and entering player tracking cards;
* Notifying management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A high school diploma or equivalent;
* At least 6 months of customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
* Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
