This full-time position is based in our Brisbane office, offering a career in the ever-expanding battery and magnet metals industry that drives global decarbonisation.
Duties will include:
- Developing planning control structures aligned with approved project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Creating and updating baseline project plans and schedules using appropriate software
- Monitoring and controlling planning activities throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
- Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction functions to maintain awareness of project activities and their impact on schedules and resourcing requirements
- Preparing and providing copies of project plans and schedules as per project reporting requirements
- Producing and issuing updates to project plans and schedules
- Assessing and communicating the schedule impact of change notifications
- Evaluating project performance in relation to planned performance
- Attending internal project progress and performance status meetings
- Collaborating with cost discipline to ensure accurate control and forecasting of man-hour budgets and assessing the impact of change requests
- Participating in schedule risk analysis and Project Controls Compliance Reviews
Requirements:
- A minimum 4 years of relevant scheduling/planning experience in the mining industry
- Proficient knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Scheduling
- Understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities
- Ability to develop project schedules and plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective organisation and project planning skills
