Support Newly Arrived Youth
Our organization is seeking a dedicated Case Worker to provide support to newly arrived young people in their education, employment, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stabilize living situations and improve connection with culture, family, and community life through individual and family support and case management.
* Undertake outreach and group work, facilitate referrals to specialist services, and advocate for participants using community connections.
* Develop and implement intervention plans addressing complex challenges faced by newly arrived families of minority communities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, or related disciplines such as Certificate III or Diploma in Community Services.
* Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse individuals and communities, including newly arrived individuals.
* Ability to conduct strength-based assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver effective case management for young people and families.
