About the role
Our Telwater team is currently looking for Fit Out specialists with 12 volt electrical experience to join the team. This position is responsible for wiring of our boat dash / consoles and installing all electronics and navigational equipment required. If you are willing to learn new skills, show initiative and like a variety of activities each day, this could be the job for you
This is a full time, permanent position working 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday (40hrs/week), with occasional overtime.
Duties Include:
* Wiring and installing of components into our boats.
* Installing navigational equipment and electronic accessories as per customer orders
* Maintain high quality standards in work
* General labouring duties, cross training in other sections where required
Skills And Experiences
What we are looking for:
* Experience with and knowledge of 12V wiring, or auto electrical experience is essential
* Show initiative and willingness to learn.
* Reliability with great attendance
* Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
* Good hand and power tool knowledge and experience
* Have your own reliable transport and Driver's License
* Full Australian working rights
* Attention to detail and take pride in the quality of your work
* Willingness to learn and develop skills within our boat building operations
