The Role
As a successful Support Engineer, you will provide remote and onsite support to clients across various industries. The role requires a willingness to learn and adapt to a broad range of duties and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and provide 1st and 2nd level support to end-users within client desktop & related hardware/software environments
* Deliver quality, remote support in a timely fashion using various remote access tools
* Schedule onsite client visits to provide maintenance and direct support
* Engage with third-party vendors to resolve issues requiring vendor escalation
* Assemble and configure server and networking components for onsite implementation
* Active Directory administration: user creation and termination requests
* Remote configuration of hardware and software
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Office 365 and Azure AD Admin
* Windows 10 and 11 admin
* Exposure to firewall maintenance
* Experience with Virtualisation setup and admin (VMWare)
* Managing networks, network hardware, networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Routing, DNS, VLANs) and ability to troubleshoot various networking issues
* Experience deploying and troubleshooting backup and anti-virus technologies
* Experience troubleshooting and deploying next generation firewalls
