Structural marine remediation project Contract rates Swan Island (Great Ocean Road) Short Description A highly successful Tier 3 civil contractor in Victoria operating for over 50 years. Spanning across Major infrastructure projects, earthworks, defense, renewables, landscaping, and structural works, we are seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on a multimillion-dollar bridge / marine construction project along the west coast of Victoria. Immediate contract role on offer - an initial 4-month assignment with the possibility to extend/go permanent. Responsibilities Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the designated timeframe and budget Oversee site activities and manage subcontractors Project administration support Quality assurance Order materials and manage procurement Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities Adhere to all health and safety requirements Requirements: 2-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer is a must Experience working on projects in a similar role Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, FRP and concreting Degree in Construction/Engineering Experience working on construction projects up to $20 million in value Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent time management and communication skills Proficient in appropriate IT The Business You will join a team known for delivering complex civil and structural infrastructure-related projects in the local market as well as projects interstate.
