International Recruitment Executive Consultant & International Business Facilitator
Zitron Australia Pty Ltd is a growing, ventilation fan manufacturing company, suppling heavy duty ventilation systems to the mining and infrastructures tunnel sector.
The company is part of a group that operates in over 80 countries on 5 continents. In Australia, the company has supplied the ventilation required for the construction and long-term operation of many of the nation's major underground transport infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a reliable and organised Materials and Logistics Coordinator for a 9‐month fixed‐term contract to support the delivery of equipment for a major infrastructure project.
This role plays a key part in ensuring project materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered to site in line with installation schedules.
Qualifications & experience
* Degree in relevant discipline ie Business degree and or relevant experience in supply chain and logistics;
* Valid Forklift Licence preferred
* Extensive warehouse, logistics and distribution experience.
* Familiar with international trade rules and Incoterms.
* Familiar with local logistic providers and general logistic limitations
* Strong communication skills and the ability to produce reports
* Adaptable to change at short notice and apply a sense of urgency to priority tasks;
* Have initiative, flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
* Basic understanding of engineering or construction materials
* Capable of working under pressure and in a multicultural environment.

Tasks & responsibilities
We are looking for an additional resource which will join our project team located in Sydney and will be tasked to coordinate the various deliveries to the project logistic hubs, and the subsequent delivery to site on as needed basis.
* Coordinate with the project management team and the company's international supply chain manager, located in Perth, to ensure the different containers are delivered, unloaded and stored in compliance with the client requirements.
* Maintain inventory control, including tracking, reporting, and resolving discrepancies
* Interface with the warehouse manager to ensure sufficient space is allocated to the material various material deliveries.
* Ensure accurate receipting, storage, and handling of materials
* Expedite materials from suppliers to meet project deadlines
* Support the project manager providing inputs for the program, based on the material status.
* Coordinate with local logistic companies, the installation company and the site representatives the delivery of the materials to the various project site locations.
* Liaise with installation contractors to ensure materials arrive in the correct sequence and condition
* Negotiate rates with transport companies.
* Preparation of packing lists and other shipping documentation.
* Overseeing of all packing, ensure all products are packed correctly
* Assist and advise Project Managers, Purchasing Officer and Sales team with transport cost estimation.Ensure all containers and trucks are unloaded and de hired withing the stipulated timeframe.
* Support safe warehouse and transport practices
