About Our Client:
Join a leading financial services firm as an Investment Tax Specialist.
We are looking for a skilled professional with deep knowledge of investment structures and tax laws, who can work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Role Overview:
This -month hybrid contract position is central to the company’s investment operations, providing tax due diligence, ensuring compliance, and supporting tax-related matters across investment vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review investment tax documents and details
- Monitor investment activities to ensure compliance
- Develop tax plans and respond to tax queries
- Occasionally manage small project teams (1–3 members)
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field; professional qualifications (CPA, CA, LLM) preferred
- 6–8 years’ experience in investment tax, tax advisory/compliance, or related roles, ideally in managed funds, superannuation, or financial services
- Robust understanding of Australian tax laws, investment structures, and related legal documentation
- Familiarity with foreign tax regimes (e.g., US, Luxembourg) is a plus
- Proven ability to collaborate with investment teams, legal counsel, external advisers, and investment managers
