Disability Support Worker – Complex Behaviours & High-Impact Support
Day & Overnight Shifts | $35–$38/hr | Casual

At Affective Care, we support people with complex behaviours who need calm, confident, and consistent workers by their side. We're seeking strong, grounded, and emotionally intelligent support workers who can remain steady under pressure and build trust through action, not words.

What You'll Be Doing
You will:
* Build strong, respectful relationships with participants
* Provide personal care and hygiene support with dignity
* Support daily routines, meals, household tasks, and structure
* Work confidently with complex behaviours, following behaviour support plans
* Support community access, appointments, and recreational activities
* Promote independence, routine, and emotional regulation
* De-escalate situations using proactive, trauma-informed strategies
* Accurately document progress, incidents, and observations
* Work closely with families, clinicians, and the wider care team

What You'll Need
* Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* First Aid & CPR
* Confidence working with complex behaviours (experience highly valued)
* Physical capability and emotional resilience
* Strong communication skills and reliability

Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
